Yesterday at midday, U.S. Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick said the trade talks with China in London were going well and he hoped they would end on Tuesday night but said they could run into Wednesday. Later, he said the two sides have reached a framework to implement the Geneva consensus and the call between their respective presidents.
ADM reports Trump is looking at rolling back the port fees on China vessels scheduled to take effect in October.
Dr. Cordonnier increased his Brazilian corn production estimate 1 million mts to 130 million (USDA 130) and left the Argentine crop estimate unchanged at 50 million (USDA 50). His U.S. corn yield estimate was left at 181 bpa. He left his Brazilian soybeans production estimated unchanged from last week at 169 million mts (USDA 169) and unchanged at 48.5 million mts for Argentina (USDA 49).
