Ukraine's President Zelensky made demands while speaking before the EU's European Council in Brussels. Zelensky said he wants to join NATO and, if Ukraine is not accepted, then he will have to resort to nuclear weapons. Zelensky sounds like he is getting more worried about Ukraine's situation.

 

The Biden Administration provided $425 million in aid to Ukraine earlier this week. From what we hear from people on the ground in Western North Carolina, that FEMA operation there needs some money also.

 

More evidence confirms the movement of 10,000 North Korean troops to join Russia soldiers at the Ukraine border.

 

Kazakhstan's harvest is nearly complete, but storage is not available for all 19.4 million tons of wheat and 3.9 million tons of barley. The situation has unexpected serious consequences as Russia imposed temporary restrictions on imports of agricultural products from Kazakhstan just Thursday, citing sanitary safety, the old stand-by excuse to keep product from being imported. Russia is trying to keep its wheat price above $250 per mt. Its 12.5% protein wheat is at $240.
