Flash sale: Yesterday morning, the USDA announced the sale of 125,000 mts of old crop corn to unknown.

Cattle & Hogs: The American Rancher Alliance reported yesterday that three-day-old bull calves are now selling for $2,200. That is quite a testament to the confidence some people have in the demand for beef for the next 16 to 24 months.


China is calling on hog producers to cut production as domestic pork prices in December were down 14.6% year-on-year, according to China’s National Bureau of Statistics (NBS). China produced 15.7 million mts of pork during the last three months of 2025, the most for any three months since 2018.
