Biofuel: Jarrett Renshaw is a White House reporter for Reuters with a focus on energy policy. He reported late yesterday afternoon:
“The Trump administration will release biofuel quotas 2026/27 this week, sometime before Friday's farm event at White House. The quotas have not been materially changed by Iran war price spike concerns, I'm told.”
Later yesterday, Renshaw reported:
“Trump is expected to waive summer gasoline blending rules - pave way for summer E15 sales.”
Other sources say that the E15 announcement will be made at 10:30 AM Central Time today.
The soybean market has two opportunities for a nice bump higher in the coming six days. The first is blending mandates that will supposedly be released this week, but no later than next Tuesday. The second is next Tuesday’s Quarterly Stocks Report and Intended Planted Acreage, which could provide a price boost.
