The Ukrainian army has launched a missile strike on the port of Feodosia in Crimea and claims to have destroyed a Russian landing ship, but reliable details of the aftermath, including casualties, have yet to emerge. This came just after Russia claimed full control of the village of Maryinka, an important strategic point for which battles have been fought since the spring of 2022.

 

Between midnight last Tuesday and midnight yesterday, Rondonópolis received a total of 5.1 mm of rain (24.5 mm = 1 inch). Four of those days had temperatures over 100°F (38°C).

 

On Sunday, Kory Melby reported:

"I think it is safe to say all counties in MT (Mato Grosso) have some issues this year. 40% of each county has a loss from 10% to 70%. 10% of each county has excellent soy. Last year 90% of counties had excellent soy. Quantify??? Comment made too dry to plant cotton and corn."

 

China is pumping 1 trillion yuan ($140 billion) into its economy. On Saturday, the government approved a core group of 9,600 projects for government funding. About 80% of the funding has already been approved and the money will be available in the near future.
