President Donald Trump is committed to providing Americans a $2,000 check using money that has come into government coffers from Trump's tariffs. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt told reporters that Trump's staff is exploring how to go about making the plan a reality.
The U.S. House of Representatives is expected to vote today to end the government shutdown.
OPEC revised its crude oil demand projections for 2026 from higher to about unchanged to show a “balanced” market next year instead of a deficit supply compared to demand. Crude oil was down $2.55 yesterday, way over done to the down side.
Indonesia, the world’s biggest palm oil producer, has consumed 12.1 million kiloliters of palm-based biodiesel this year through November 6. Indonesia this year implemented a B40 program — mandating a 40% mixture of palm-based biodiesel with gasoil — with an allocation target of 15.6 million kiloliters for the full year. The government will continue preparations to roll out a B50 mixture for biodiesel incentives in the next six months.
