Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled at 41,249, -68 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $61.06, +2.68.
Dollar Index settled at 100.42, +0.38.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 1,299, -122 for the week.
Corn
July futures at $4.49¾, -19¼¢ for the week.
December futures at $4.42, -8¼¢ for the week.
Basis (N = July; e.g. 10N means 10¢ over July futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis is -28N, 2¢ firmer.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis is 15N, steady, $4.65 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis is -10N, steady, $4.39 cash price.
