Tidbits

Yesterday at 4:09 PM Eastern Daylight Time, President Trump announced:

“Based on the fact that the Government of Iran is seriously fractured, not unexpectedly so and, upon the request of Field Marshal Asim Munir, and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, of Pakistan, we have been asked to hold our Attack on the Country of Iran until such time as their leaders and representatives can come up with a unified proposal. I have therefore directed our Military to continue the Blockade and, in all other respects, remain ready and able, and will therefore extend the Ceasefire until such time as their proposal is submitted, and discussions are concluded, one way or the other.”

Iran, for its part, officially withdrew from the negotiations and refused to send a delegation to Pakistan. Military equipment and crowds of people eager to continue the war with the United States took to the streets of Iranian cities. Mehdi Mohammadi, adviser to the speaker of the Iranian parliament, stated:

"Trump's extension of the ceasefire has no meaning for us. The losing side cannot dictate terms. Continuing the blockade is no different from bombing, and it must be met with a military response. Moreover, Trump's extension of the ceasefire is undoubtedly an attempt to buy time for a surprise attack. The time for Iran's counter-initiative is now."

Flash Sales: Yesterday morning, the USDA announced the sale of 100,000 metric tons of old crop corn to Colombia and 195,000 metric tons of old crop corn to unknown.
