Iran: President Trump will address the nation tomorrow evening to explain his Iran plan.
The U.S. and Iran conducted military strikes with each other overnight. Trump said the U.S. military will continue to strike Iran in the coming days and into next week.
Brazil: CONAB raised its 2025/26 Brazilian soybean production estimate a bit to 180.57 million mts, from 180.25 million mts previously. They raised their Brazilian corn production forecast 1% to 141.7 million mts. 90.4% of Brazil’s wheat area has been sown as of July 3, while the 2026 harvest was 0.9% complete.
Dr. Michael Cordonnier left his Argentine and Brazilian corn and soybean production unchanged and coincided with USDA forecasts.
Brazil's National Energy Policy Council on Tuesday approved temporarily raising the mandatory ethanol blend in gasoline from 30% to 32%. It will last 180 days and could be extended later for an equal period. A higher ethanol blend will increase the share of sugarcane processed into biofuel in Brazil, industry figures showed earlier this year, while also boosting the expansion of corn‑based ethanol. Estimated additional demand is about 1 billion liters of ethanol per year compared to the previous mix.
