Highlights, Ukrainian Grain Delay, Oklahoma Feedback, Markets & Rain Days Update 7/30/22


For the month of July 2022:

Sept corn was down 12½ cents, December corn was up quarter cent.

November beans were up 10½ cents.

August Soybean meal $5.60 per ton.

August soybean oil up 2.76 cents pound.

September Soft Red Winter Wheat was down 76¼ cents.

September Hard Red Winter Wheat was down 77¼ cents.

Hard Red Spring Wheat was down 84 cents.

Despite the promise that at least one shipload of grain would depart from an Ukrainian Black Sea Port yesterday, it did not happen. Ukraine has very few competent people in charge of anything… it has always been that way. Ukraine's Ministry of Agriculture said yesterday afternoon that ten vessels in the ports of Odessa and Chornomorsk are loaded with grain and are ready to leave port and another seven vessels have already been loaded in the ports. So... what is the problem? It takes bribe money to get anything, even important things with the whole world watching, done quickly in Ukraine.
