Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled on Friday at 48,892, -206 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $65.74, +4.46.
Dollar Index settled at 97.15, -0.31.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 2,148, +386.
Corn
March futures settled at $4.28¼, -2¼¢ for the week.
Basis (H = March; e.g. 10H means 10¢ over Mar futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis was -34H, 1¢ firmer.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis was 15H, steady, $4.43 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis was -15H, steady, $4.13 cash price.
