December CBOT options expire today.
Flash sale: Yesterday morning, the USDA announced the sale to China of 462,000 mts of old crop soybeans and 132,000 mts of old crop white wheat.
Despite the announcement of a large sale of beans and wheat to China, corn, wheat, and beans followed the trend from higher to lower. Relax! Stocks and commodities will recover very soon.
U.S. stocks surged about 2% yesterday morning as Nvidia’s quarterly report was much better than expected. The market was afraid of a “bubble burst” of the high-flying major tech companies led by Nvidia. Walmart jumped 3.5% after upgrading its guidance for this year's sales on stronger digital spending and higher sales.
Seven weeks of unemployment claims were reported up to Nov 15, averaging 225,000 and about as expected for every week.
Other good news yesterday morning was U.S. nonfarm payrolls rose by 119,000 in September 2025, rebounding from a 4,000 decline in August. That was 69,000 more new jobs than the market expected. It was the biggest job increase in five months.
