Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled on Friday at 45,401, -144 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $61.97, -2.04.
Dollar Index settled at 97.736, -0.12.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 1,979, -46.
Corn
December futures settled at $4.18, -2¼¢ for the week.
Basis (Z = December; e.g. 10Z means 10¢ over Dec futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis was -42Z, steady.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis was -15Z, 3¢ weaker, $4.03 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis was -33Z, 3¢ weaker, $3.85 cash price.
