Crude oil settled at $65.19, +2.47.
Dollar Index settled at 98.182, +0.53.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 2,259, +56.
Corn
December futures settled at $4.22, -2¢ for the week.
Basis (Z = December; e.g. 10Z means 10¢ over Dec futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis was -42Z, steady.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis was -25Z, steady, $3.97 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis was -35Z, steady, $3.87 cash price.
