Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled on Friday at 45,834, +433 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $62.6, +0.63.
Dollar Index settled at 97.615, -0.12.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 2,126, +147.
Corn
December futures settled at $4.30, +12¢ for the week.
Basis (Z = December; e.g. 10Z means 10¢ over Dec futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis was -42Z, steady.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis was -15Z, steady, $4.15 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis was -35Z, 2¢ weaker, $3.95 cash price.
