Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled on Friday at 45,545, -87 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $64.01, +0.24.
Dollar Index settled at 97.855, +0.13.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 2,025, +81.
Corn
December futures settled at $4.20¼, +32¢ for the week.
Basis (Z = December; e.g. 10Z means 10¢ over Dec futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis was -42Z, 2¢ weaker.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis was -12Z, steady, $4.08 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis was -30Z, 3¢ weaker, $3.90 cash price.
