Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled at 42,198, -565 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $73.18, +8.41.
Dollar Index settled at 98.14, -1.06.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 1,968, +335.
Corn
July futures at $4.44½, +2¢ for the week.
December futures at $4.43, -6¼¢ for the week.
Basis (N = July; e.g. 10N means 10¢ over July futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis is -22N, 1¢ firmer.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis is 40N, steady, $4.85 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis is -3N, steady, $4.41 cash price.
