Dow Jones Industrial Average Index settled at 41,603, -1,052 points for the week.
Crude oil settled at $61.76, -0.73.
Dollar Index settled at 99.1, -1.88.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 1,340, -48 for the week.
Corn
July futures at $4.59½, +16¢ for the week.
December futures at $4.50¾, +15¼¢ for the week.
Basis (N = July; e.g. 10N means 10¢ over July futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis is -25N, 2¢ firmer.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis is 30N, 5¢ firmer, $4.90 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis is -3N, 2¢ firmer, $4.56 cash price.
