Crude oil settled at $63.17, -1.28.
Dollar Index settled at 99.59, +0.36.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 1,373, +112 for the week.
Corn
May futures at $4.78¾, -3½¢ for the week.
December futures at $4.55¾, -10¼¢ for the week.
Basis (K = May; e.g. 10K means 10¢ over May futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis is -26K, 1¢ firmer.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis is 15K, steady, $4.94 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis is -10N, steady, $4.75 cash price.
