Crude oil settled at $59.95, +0.11.
Dollar Index settled at 99.27, -0.29.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 2,125, +21.
Corn
December futures settled at $4.30¼, +3¢ for the week.
Basis (Z = December; e.g. 10Z means 10¢ over Dec futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis was -37Z, 1¢ firmer.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis was 10Z, 10¢ firmer, $4.40 cash price.
