Crude oil settled at $91.26, -1.18.
Dollar Index settled at 101.92, +0.88.
Baltic Dry Index (a shipping freight-cost index) settled at 3,148, -278.
Corn
December futures settled at $4.97¾, -30½¢ for the week.
Basis (Z = Dec; e.g. 10Z means 10¢ over Dec futures) (Futures price + Basis = Cash price)
The US national average basis was -43Z, 2¢ weaker.
Dayton, Ohio Cargill’s spot basis was -20Z, 15¢ weaker, $4.78 cash price.
Iowa Falls Poet’s spot basis was -10Z, 20¢ firmer, $4.87 cash price.
