President Trump reportedly had a 90 minute phone conversation with President Putin on Friday. No news about the topics discussed.

President Trump posted on Truth social:

"Based on the fact the European Union is not complying with our fully agreed to Trade Deal, next week I will be increasing Tariffs charged to the European Union for Cars and Trucks coming into the United States. The Tariff will be increased to 25%. It is fully understood and agreed that, if they produce Cars and Trucks in the U.S.A. Plants, there will be NO TARIFF."

The United States is withdrawing 5,000 troops from Germany, the Pentagon announced on Friday, as a rift over the Iran war widens between President Donald Trump and Europe. When asked on Saturday night about the withdrawal of troops, Trump said:

"We're going to cut way down, and we're cutting a lot further than 5,000."

Trump has also suggested pulling U.S. troops from Italy and Spain.
