September Crude Oil broke out to the upside above the 69.75 mark and closed about 60 cents above this area. We will see if this up move can be sustained. It's either a bull trap, or a fake out.

support - 69.70, 68.40

resistance - 71.50, 74.50

November Soybeans marked the low 2.75 cents below the 998.00 support level, after selling off about 17.00 cents. There is an uptrend line going back to December 2024 that was tested today at the 995.00 price area. There is some chance the buyers will attempt an up correction from here.

support - 995.00 - ?, 987.00, 971.50

resistance - 1013.50, 1019.50

December Corn marked it's high 2 ticks below the 425.00 resistance number, after rallying about 4.50 cents from low to high.

support - 411.50, 409.00

resistance - 415.00, 420.00

September SRW Wheat marked it's low 1.25 cents above the 522.00 support level, after selling off almost 9.00 cents from high to low.

support - 522.00, 511.00

resistance - 532.00, 539.00

September HRW Wheat marked it's low 1.75 cents below the 517.50 support price, then rallied about a dime from low to high.

support - 515.00, 506.00

resistance - 527.50, 531.00

September Spring Wheat printed a very small range (3.75 cents) Doji. The opening and closing price was only 1 tick different. This indicates a well structured Doji. I hesitate to say there's a good chance that the selling has dried up, only because actual chart support is the old low at 563.50, but some of the funds will be buying in today's price range.

support - 563.50

resistance - 585.00, 594.00

History:

Old timers will tell you, Oats knows! What do oats know? The price outlook of corn! If the price of oats is in an uptrend, corn will soon follow and vice versa. While that may have been true when horsepower came from horses whose primary energy came from oats, it is not something you should bet your farm on these days.
