Mar Corn - Steady to 1.00 Lower


Mar Bean Oil - 0.03 Higher


Jan Beans - Steady to 0.50 Lower


January Crude Oil marked its low price 13 cents beneath the 58.25 bracket support, after selling off about 1.10 bucks from the high price printed earlier in the trade session.

support - 58.10-57.95, 57.65

resistance - 59.20, 59.65


January Soybeans violated the 1091.00 support number by 6.50 cents possibly on the way to test 1072.50. The trade lost a net 6.00 cents on the day.

support - 1072.50, 1070.00

resistance - 1095.00, 1107.50


March Corn marked its high price 1.00 cent above the 448.00 bracket resistance number, after a rally of about 6.50 cents from near the open/low print.

support - 447.50 - breakout level, 443.50

resistance - 450.50-452.25, 463.00


March SRW Wheat marked the low price 1.25 cents below the 532.50 support level, after selling down about 6.25 cents from the high print.

support - 531.25-530.00, 526.00

resistance - 538.00, 541,50


March HRW Wheat marked its low price at the stated 523.50 support number, after selling off about 7.00 cents from the morning high price print.

support - 523.50, 520.00

resistance - 530.50, 534.00


March Spring Wheat marked its high print in between the 2 stated resistance points of 577.00 and 582.75, after rallying 9.50 cents from the low near the opening bell.

support - 575.00, 572.00

resistance - 580.00, 583.00


Soviets, part 2:

The Soviets bought 10 million mts of wheat 30% below the cost of production, thanks to U.S. taxpayers. “The Great Train Robbery” in England in 1963 netted robbers over £2.6 million, equivalent of over £80 million today. The Soviet wheat deal of 1973 became known as “The Great Grain Robbery” as U.S. taxpayers and consumers paid for the subsidy that benefitted the Soviet Union and then had to pay 30% more for wheat flour.
