Soybeans:

At 370 million tons, soybeans are the world’s seventh largest agricultural product and a powerhouse crop, used for food, animal feed, and industrial applications. Brazil, the U.S., and Argentina dominate global production by far with a Paraguay and distant fourth place producer of soybeans. Henry Ford was the man who transformed soybeans from a forage crop to protein supplement and vegetable oil, which is now used to make more than 1400 products.
