Corn situation after the close Tuesday, January 7, 2025:

March corn settled yesterday at $4.58, -½¢ since last Tuesday.

Tuesday’s closing price was $1.15¾ below the contract high of $5.73¾ (Jan 3, 2023) and 54¼¢ above the contract low of $4.03¾ (Aug 26, 2024).

USDA’s 2024/25 crop carryout in terms of days’ use: US 42, world 87.
