Flash Sales: Yesterday, the USDA reported sales of 192,000 mts of old (2026) crop soybeans to China.

Brazil: IMEA forecasts the 2nd crop corn in Mato Grosso, Brazil’s largest producing state, would fall to 53.7 million mts in 2026/27, down 7.5% from a year ago as El Nino is likely to reduce yields.

The German agriculture ministry sees their nation’s 2026 grain production will fall 7.3% to 37.4 million mts due to heat and drought this summer. Additionally, all wheat production is now estimated at 20.81 million mts. If realized, that would be a decline of 10.1% year on year. Germany is the second largest wheat grower in the EU, behind France.
